Canadian Dental Care Plan

We launched the Canadian Dental Care Plan so that 9 million Canadians who don’t have coverage right now can get on a plan and start going to the dentist.

We’re rolling it out over the next 6 months, and we’re starting with seniors.

What you need to know: if you’re a senior, we’re mailing letters to you about where to call to enroll. Starting with seniors 87 or older, and by May all eligible seniors will have been contacted.

If you’re a Canadian resident, have an income under $90,000, and don’t have dental coverage, you may eligible.

The Plan covers regular preventive care like cleaning and polishing, diagnostics like x-rays, and other services like dentures.

This is a big day. This a big deal. And it’s big for Newfoundlanders and Labradorians.
